Paraoptometric of the Year
2024 Paraoptometric of the Year - Misty Courtney, CPO
The Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians (OAOP) has named Misty Courtney, CPO of Oklahoma City as the 2024 Paraoptometric of the Year. The award goes to a paraoptometric who displays outstanding professional leadership as well as service to patients. Paraoptometrics are health professionals who assist optometric physicians in providing high levels of vision care to patients.
Misty Courtney, CPO is the optical manager at Vision Source OKC South with Dr. Colby Ricks and Dr. Travis Yadon. She has been in the optometric field since 1991 and has been employed with Vision Source OKC South since 2019.
Misty is CPO Certified and has led the Paraoptometric Committee with the OAOP. She says she loves working with great doctors and co-workers and is dedicated to helping every patient enjoy the best eyecare experience possible.
Her colleagues say they are touched by her desire to help those in need. At the office, Misty helped organize Vision Source OKC South’s Giving Sight Day clinic. At home, Misty fosters her nieces and ensures they get the love and attention they need to thrive.
