Low Vision Optometrist Wanted in Tulsa
NewView Oklahoma Low Vision Rehabilitation Center is hiring a FT/PT low vision optometrist for our state-of-the-art Tulsa facility. We are a nationally renowned nonprofit specializing in low vision and rehab services. Our mission is to empower blind or and low vision individuals, maximizing their opportunities for independence.
Key duties
§Providing comprehensive exams, treatment, and management of vision rehab patients.
§Prescribing specialty glasses, prisms and low vision devices.
§Working with other members of the vision rehab team (OT, COTA, O&M, AT)
§Occasional travel to rural and inner-city clinics to provide eye care services.
Multiple FT benefits include but not limited to PTO, health/dental insurance, loan forgiveness, retirement plan, paid professional fees, CE. Relocation stipend for out-of-area candidates. Prior experience in low vision is preferred, not required.
