Are you interested in sharing your knowledge with optometric professionals to advance and enhance the profession? The OAOP invites you to submit a speaker proposal for our educational programs.
The OAOP provides education for doctors of optometry, optometric staff, and student doctors. The OAOP's Congress Committee will consider the Call for Courses for all educational programs, including the OAOP Vision Summit (spring), OAOP & NSUOCO Converge (fall), and various stand-alone programs.
Presentations must be educational, not product/company promotional.
We are looking for energetic, engaging, and compelling speakers. We want our attendees to be engaged and provided the opportunity to apply knowledge through lectures, case studies, round-table discussions, and demonstrations. In addition, speakers are encouraged to give attendees helpful tools they can implement once they return to their practices.
Submitting a course for consideration DOES NOT GUARANTEE a place on a meeting agenda. However, the OAOP will contact you with specifics and arrangements if your presentation is selected.
Please Note: You will need the following documents to submit a course:
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) for the Primary Presenter
- Course outline (must include title, number of hours, description, minimum of three objectives per hour)
- Financial Disclosure
